Well....I have finally taken a job. For those of you who don't know, I'm done watching Cale. I was done about 2 1/2weeks ago. Bryan & Sarah decided to take him to a daycare closer to home and a little less pricey. I was really bummed,but it will be nice to not have to drive 30mins 2X's a day. So my next thing was to find a daycare suitable for my precious,little, wonderful mini me!! LOL I started to look at day cares first but really had a hard time A) finding a daycare with an opening for a 2 year old B) finding one that was suitable for Colby, Aaron & I. C) find a dental assisting job with the wonderful hours I used to have. I was literally ill over having to put him back into daycare.... and I was NOT going to put him into a big daycare, but I had to be careful on in home day cares because we had such a horrible time with the 1st daycare & a not so great experience with the 2nd one. We love Mrs. Gloria at the 2nd daycare but she was having marital issues so it was kind of interfering with my warm fuzzy's that I used to have about her.
Well.....nothing was coming up daycare wise and Dr. Pospisil didn't have an opening for me again.....
Well I contacted one last final daycare given to me by another daycare lady who was full. I called Melinda at Kinder heart home daycare and we talked for about 20mins & I gave her my sob story. She must have felt sorry for me because she said that she could take Colby but she needed someone to help her out. I would get free daycare & lunches for Colby plus I would get paid AND (the kicker) she is like 3 blocks from my house!! HURRAY!! THANK YOU GOD!! You have finally answered my prayers....kind of! LOL
So on Monday Colby & I headed off to Mrs. Melinda's house to the total chaos! At lunch time on most days there are 9children sitting around her huge table! I have NO idea how Melinda & her sister did it with just the 2 of them?!?!?! SO I have changed jobs and I'm now a daycare provider & a mommy!! Not exactly what I was hoping to do but at least I'm with Colby & that was my goal!! Someday I'll be able to stay home with him...right now $$ a bit tight! So off to work we go!! LOL I'll keep you posted on how it's going! At night I'm so freaking tired, I would love to go to bed when Colby does at 8:00pm...wow I'm really kind of lame!! hahahah

Casey - what the heck?!?! I am so behind in my blog reading. I didn't know they was all going on with you. Hope this week has gone better. What are your hours?
